n this month of October, as we approach Halloween, the next pagan holiday on this spiritual Egypt’s roster, we will be ushering in Season 4 of Supping with Jesus, entitled Oh, the Horror. During this time when many will be gathered around their televisions, filling the movie theaters, attending haunted houses and scrolling their phones in search screams, scares and all things terror we will be taking a look at a number of these films to show you how even these illuminate the truths concerning the teachings of the Kingdom of God.
Oh, The Horror: Smile.
Have you ever heard that expression, when you smile, the whole world smiles with you? However, we soon discover, with this film, this isn’t always a good thing. The movie Smile stars Sosie Bacon, the daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick, as clinical psychologist Rose Cotter who after witnessing a bizarre and traumatic incident, involving a patient, begins experiencing frightening occurrences that she can't explain. Soon, an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, starting with a Smile.

Oh, The Horror: The Fog.
As I have been doing this walk with the Lord, there isn’t a song, a movie, an event, you name it, that God hasn’t used to bring my thoughts right back to him. What you previously heard was a reenactment of a scene from the 1980 film, The Fog. As you may recall, the original scene featured the actress Adrienne Barbeau.
In the movie, she plays the character Stevie Wayne a DJ who was the voice on the radio that gave warning to the townspeople about the danger that lay waiting in the Fog.

I was looking at this video entitled This is Absolutely Evil by Voddie Baucham and I couldn’t help but see, as these people call themselves challenging God and the dictates that he has set forth as to how his creation is supposed to model themselves, how lost and dead inside these people truly are.
It was also not lost on me that while they were trying to challenge the word of God, they were really only reaffirming how true the word of God really is.
